NEW SEASON STARTS SEPTEMBER 2024

DANCE CLASSES

Our students are nurtured in a non-competitive atmosphere where the primary focus is learning the art of dance — and having fun! Performance skills are developed over the year, culminating in our year-end recital. Personal attention is ensured with our smaller class sizes and our talented teachers and assistants. We offer ballet, contemporary, and jazz/hip-hop dance classes.

WHAT PARENTS ARE SAYING

Our daughter loves when Saturday comes and she gets to see Ms. Kennedy! Your patience and gentle spirit coupled with your experience make for an amazing first experience for our daughter. We will continue to bring her to wherever you teach.

MEET ERIN KENNEDY

Hi, I’m Erin, the founder of Kennedy School of Dance (formerly Leaside Dance School). My passion for dance started at age 6 in a ballet class held in a charming, converted schoolhouse. With Kennedy School of Dance, I strive to recreate that same magical atmosphere - a place where children can freely explore their imagination, create social connections, and enjoy all the physical, mental, and emotional benefits of dance.

I’m a graduate of the National Ballet School of Canada's Teacher Training program and have over 20 years of experience teaching all levels. As a registered teacher with the internationally recognized Royal Academy of Dance and the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (both credentials awarded with distinction), I am dedicated to nurturing and inspiring the next generation of dancers.

WHAT PARENTS ARE SAYING

Thank you for sharing your love of dance with our daughter, Laryssa. Your adept teaching as well as your kind and gentle manner have helped “plant the seed” from which Laryssa will grow to become a young lady who values the movement and grace of her body. You have made her first year of dance a memorable one.
